We submitted it to the BlackBerry Developer Challenge 2011 and won third place for Best Adobe Flash®/AIR app (EMEA region)!

If you ever wondered if the boy in the picture was Svit, you are right! In the picture, he is 2 years old. He is pretty hands on with PlayBook and is already proficient in finding bugs. The best beta tester you can imagine.

“I’m still holding out for Kindle for Playbook, but I really like the direct link to Gutenberg and I like the attempt to make full use of the touchscreen topography. Its a glimpse down the road for the Playbook, when we begin to see apps that both optimize the display capabilities and the touch sensitivity. Good effort.”

Very Good

I use this every day and i find it to be a very good and user friendly ePub reader. As good if not better than Kobo reader. I look forward to further refinements.

SFWriter, August 10 2012

So far i’ve tried Overdrive, Kobo, PlayEpub, and Svit ebook readers. In order of
preference, I recommend Svit, Overdrive, and the Android side-loaded Kobo for
the Playbook…

Dave, I’ve tried to open several Project Gutenberg books but they opened fine. Even The Bible as a very large book needs around 20 seconds to be completely parsed and opened (Svit builds all pages at opening). Please, try to restart PlayBook first and then contact to solve your problem if it still persists.

Dave, can you check if you have 2 icons of Svit on your PlayBook. The one with the kid is the right one.
